Date: July 25, 2013 On March 28, 2013 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a missing person’s report on a person identified as Mishy Brown, a white female age 44, who is a resident of the Bascom, Fl area. Family members reported that Mishy Brown was last seen on March 27th walking near the westbound lane of I-10 near Marianna. Investigators searched the area described by the family member, but were unable to locate the missing individual. Mishy was also entered into the local and national database for missing persons.On July 24, 2013 the Marianna Police Department responded to a report of a deceased person found behind a wooded area, near the intersection of I-10 and the Kynesville Highway. During the investigation by the Marianna Police Department it was revealed that there are some similarities in the description of the deceased person and the missing person, Mishy Brown. The identity of the deceased person cannot be determined until the investigation by the Marianna Police Department is concluded.
