Sean P. McDuffie, 39 years of age: identified as the fire victim – 1320 Buena Vista Boulevard, Lot # 33 Panama City, FL

The Panama City Police Department responded to a structure fire at 1320 Buena Vista Boulevard, Lot # 33, on July 24, 2013, at approximately 11:35 p.m. After the fire was brought under control by the Panama City Fire Department it was learned that an adult male resident of the home was deceased inside the structure. Two other occupants made it out safely and were not injured. The deceased male has been identified as Sean P. McDuffie, 39 years of age. Detectives with the Panama City Police Department are investigating the incident along with the Panama City Fire Department and the State Fire Marshall’s Office to determine the origin of the fire. The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the manner and cause of death.
This incident remains under investigation and further details cannot be released at this time.
