Man wanted for sexual assault in Dothan caught in Bay County

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the US Marshal’s North Florida Fugitive Task Force, today apprehended a man wanted for sexual assault in Alabama. Task force members received a tip that Donald Emory Lacey was in Bay County on Panama City Beach. Lacey was wanted on a warrant out of Dothan, Alabama for rape. Subsequent investigation revealed Lacey was living in a motel on Panama City Beach. Task Force members confronted Lacey and took him into custody without incident. Lacey, DOB6/2/70, of 8001 Surf Drive, Panama City Beach, was taken to the Bay County Jail to await extradition to Dothan. Alabama.
