The Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle honored ten Women of Distinction on August 23 during the Awards Gala at the Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort.
“The 2013 Women of Distinction are women who embody the mission of Girl Scouts,” stated Donna Pilson, gala committee chair and a 2012 Women of Distinction Honoree. They are women of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
2013 WOMEN OF DISTINCTION HONOREES
Pearl Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dot Nelson, a lifelong Girl Scout member.
Former Lynn Haven Mayor and City Commissioner Sharon Sheffield received the Diamond Award.
