December 16, 2013 – Fountain Man Arrested On Narcotic and Tampering With Evidence Charges

(Chipley, FL; December 16, 2013)— The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, reports the arrest of a Fountain man on narcotics charges following a traffic stop.
Deputies observed a vehicle traveling on Orange Hill Road with non working lights and proceeded to stop the vehicle. During the traffic stop, the deputy observed the driver exhibiting several physical indicators consistent with being involved in illegal activity.
The deputy asked for and received consent to search the vehicle. During the search, a pill bottle filled with several pills, a cigarette pack that contained pills, a baggy containing a substance that tested positive as methamphetamines, and rolling papers were discovered.
During the search, the suspect was observed, on camera, attempting to dispose of evidence found by the deputies. The evidence was recovered and the suspect was arrested.

Gregory Eugene Edmondson, 46 year old white male of Fountain, FL
• Driving While License Is Suspended or Revoked
• Possession of Controlled Substance Without Prescription
• Trafficking in Controlled Substance Hydrocodone
• Tampering with Evidence
• Possession of Harmful and New Legend Drug
