October 15, 2015 The Panama City Police Department announces multiple arrests resulting from the ongoing investigation of the shooting death of 17 year old, Curtis Hunt. 18 year old, Javares R. Cameron was charged with an open count of murder and resisting an officer without violence. 14 year old,
Capri Brooks was charged with principle to murder, felon in possession of a firearm, resisting an
officer without violence and tampering with evidence. 15 year old, Isiah C. Grady was charged
with accessory after the fact to murder and violation of probation. Cameron was transported to the Bay County Jail for processing. Brooks and Grady were transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice. All three await first appearance hearings for their charges.
A fourth suspect is still being sought in connection with this investigation. The Panama City Police Department is offering a cash reward of up to $500.00 to the first person who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
